The Terrace Plaza

Where?
“Yeongjongdo”, the only sea within an hour’s distance from Seoul.
Why?
Planning a new commercial district by reinterpreting a symbolic significance of ‘Gueup Batteo’ that an original center connected the mainland and the island as connecting the old and new.
How?
Rebuilding the Batteo as a young and vibrant place of coexistence, embracing the sea without harming local markets indigenous people operate.
What?
A resort embracing the sea. Developing architecture and content that allows you to feel the warm ocean with your whole body to comfort a city-weary mind.

Among the buildings around the Gueup Batteo, the first rooftop terrace was designed and constructed, and through a challenging design with a 5 floors to showcase an ‘Open Showroom’, where its terrace is visible from every building.
The Terrace Plaza has established itself as the ‘first’ and ‘best’ landmark in the Enhasulo, reflecting its design to all surrounding buildings.

Jayeondo Salt Bread the Head Store

Originating from the idea to create a takeout-only product representing
Yongjongdo using its old name ‘Jayeondo’, the Salt Bakery started.

The nostalgic atmosphere was expressed in a package.
The Premium Salt Bread was developed after conducting 100 ingredient tests and 1,000 baking tests in order to create a local specialty by only using the finest ingredients and the most precious gift from the sea, salt.
The Salt Bread quickly grew into a mega-hit product, selling 7,000 units a day, and it became the biggest salt bread store in Asia, surpassing Japan’s original Shio bread, selling 6,000 units a day.

poetic spatial design, changing landscape display according to every season, and its intuitive naming “Terrace in front of the sea”
During the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, when everyone avoided closed space,
what people needed was ‘untainted nature’ and a sense of ‘rest.

Bada-Ap Ramen-jip (seaside ramen restaurant)

‘A small seafood ramen specialty restaurant  by tranquil and serene blue sea’

It is a seafood ramen specialty restaurant with the motif of a warmhearted small ramen store that feels like it must be around right there next to the calm blue sea.
This place is a successful store with a unique concept of ‘standing seafood ramen house’, coming from the disadvantage of its small 26-square-meter space.
Upgrading the universally beloved ramen into a luxurious experience with a visual of excellent seafood stew,
this store is praised for its excellent content, using seasonal crabs and fresh ingredients to integrate its locational features of the seaside.
